Healthy Habits

Nutrition is one of the most controversial topics out there, and the truth is, no one diet is right for everyone. However, we all have the same essential nutrients we need to live a healthy life, no matter what diet and lifestyle you choose to follow. Join me in learning how to navigate through all the chatter and get back to what is really important in living your best life.

Level 1

Healthy Habits Level 1 takes us back to the fundamentals of diet and lifestyle choices that should be implemented every day to improve health and longevity. It is designed to avoid over analyzing all the things we "shouldn't eat" or "need to eliminate" and only focuses on what we need to include, leaving room to fill in the blanks for what works for you. We will also highlight some key lifestyle factors that are equally as important as what you eat.

This program introduces one healthy habit each week, with the research to support why it's a crucial part of a healthy lifestyle. Weekly challenges, recipes and meal planning tips are provided to help implement each habit.

Next session begins October 19!

Registration closes October 12, limited space available.

Level 2

Once you've mastered the habits of level 1, we dive in a little deeper with another 6 weeks of learning!

Continue building on these habits while assessing your relationship with other habits that may not be serving you.

It is strongly recommended you wait at least 6 months before joining Level 2 to avoid overwhelming yourself with too many new changes. Forming new habits takes time!

Programs are held online or in-person to suit everyone's needs.

Online is helpful for anyone with a schedule that's hard to commit to a set class time. These programs are accessible at any time of day from the comfort of your own home or anywhere you have internet. The online chat room is available for asking questions and interacting with fellow participants.

The in-person option is great for anyone that wants to avoid more time on their computer and be present with other participants on a set schedule.

Want to challenge your friends, family members or co-workers? Private classes can be requested with  minimum of 4 participants.

Despite knowing what “healthy habits” are (I work in healthcare), that didn’t mean I was practicing them regularly. This 6 week course walked us through the basics of living a healthy life and gave us an opportunity to focus on a different habit each week. Kristi offered fun weekly challenges like Plant Bingo to get us to shake up our usual routine.

I found this course really valuable, because I think we can all “know” what to do, yet benefit from support and strategies to actually implement it!

I liked that you included tips for parents, as that often feels like a barrier. “My kids won’t eat that” or “I have kids I don’t have time for that” is an easy way to sacrifice our own health as parents. Reading the modules and seeing that they included considerations for parents and kids was really helpful.

Healthy Habits provided thorough and evidence-based nutritional knowledge that was easy to understand and incorporate into my daily routine. The strategies I learned were manageable during busy work weeks, and it even worked as a time-saver for the busiest days: allowing me to keep eating healthy even when time was tight! Small changes had me feeling like I had more energy and less bloating!
